Time Is Cruel And Relentless

Time is cruel and relentless. Bit by bit, it whittles and takes away the potential of a person.

Time is cruel and relentless. Slowly but surely, white hair appears and you find that your no longer who you used to be.

Time is cruel and relentless. And because of the way it is how it is, one must grab hold of what little (time) one has.

To explore all interesting possibilities before all (potential) is lost. Lost forever.

Crisis TV Series Afterthoughts (Spoiler Alert)

After having finished watching Crisis (TV series), I can't help but think that there appears to be some kind of logical inconsistency in it.

Wasn't Francis Gibson supposed to be portrayed as a "father who was wrongly framed and is trying to get his life back"?

If that was the case, most of the killings that occurred "under his control" shouldn't had happened.

And in fact, it should have been in his plans to preserve lives instead.

My Ideal Scenario:

Ep 1 & 2 could have been about him being in jail, escaping from it and initiating the whole plan to get back on Gabe Widener. (To make up for Ep 12 and Ep 13 in the original series being cut off.)

Ep 3 would be the start of what we saw (Original's Ep 1 "Pilot"), but with Finley stunned and left there instead of being shot at and Gibson totally out of the picture (from the bus scene and everything).

(Anton could have just as easily been released after his father had done what he was asked to do.)

From there, everything proceeds as usual.

But at Ep 7, Hearst shouldn't have been allowed to escape.

In Ep 8, Nash shouldn't have died. Rather both got caught by the guard and brought back to their lockup rooms.

In Ep 9, Gibson should have just faked Jin's death and locked him up somewhere else.

Buddy didn't have to die in Ep 11. Gibson could have easily ordered Hawkins to knock him unconscious.

And with Widener having incriminated himself, that should have been the end already...with Gibson surrendering himself and releasing all the kids.
