On today's Google home page features a lady sitting beside a work table holding a flask of reagent. Apparently, this lady is Marie Curie and today's her 144th birthday.
Marie Skłodowska Curie was a Polish–French physicist–chemist who was famous for her pioneering research on radioactivity.
